ST. JAMES MATRICULATION HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL, TRICHY – 1.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             St. James Matriculation Higher Secondary School was founded on 1st October 1982 by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tiruchirappalli, during the Episcopacy of Most Rev. Thomas Fernando. The visionary of this great historical mission was Fr. A. Susairaj, the Founder of St. James and later in the 1990s, he was instrumental to start another institution Arockia Matha Matriculation at Karumandapam. While serving as Correspondent of R. C. Hr. Sec. School and of R. C. Teachers Training Institute, he actualized his dreams to own Matriculation Schools to the Diocese.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  We remember with gratitude the untiring efforts of Rev. Fr. A. Susairaj, the founder and the remarkable services rendered by Rev. Fr. S. Chinnappan, Rev. Fr. S. Aruldass, Rev. Dr. A. Suresh, Rev. Fr. S. Thomas and Rev. Fr. S. Devaraj. who has been the  Correspondent and served St. James.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Three decades have gone by in the history of St. James. However, still we have miles to go; miles to go before we sleep. At this juncture, we look back with gratitude and express sincere thanks and appreciation for all those – especially the Diocesan, State and District Educational authorities, who have endeavoured to escort this institution towards the empowerment of the Student Community.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Let them march with DARE and HOPE.
